Dr. Kim Yung Pfuhl has been in healthcare since 1998. She started as an exercise physiologist then began her nursing career in 2003. Her main areas of interest and experience are functional medicine/preventive care, urgent care, emergent care and advanced practice nursing education. She is an active member and current secretary of the board of the MN APRN Coalition. She was a district captain with the MN APRN coalition for the full authority practice legislation that passed for APRNs in 2014, becoming law in 2015. She is an APRN entrepreneur, owning her own functional wellness practice in the state of MN. She has been a part of 2 other APRN led independent practices since 2015. She is passionate about APRN independent practice and loves to discuss the opportunities for APRNs to own their own private practice.
