This 1-hour presentation will review the basics of IgE mediated food allergies in regard to etiology, pathophysiology, allergen biology, diagnosis, management and prevention.
We will also briefly discuss non-IgE mediated food reactions such as oral allergy syndrome and FPIES.
Objectives:

2. Identify which tests are appropriate for diagnosing food allergies and learn how to interpret them
3. Summarize the treatment options for food allergies
