Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine
Dr. Anne Gifford is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She joined the faculty in the Division of Geriatrics at Vanderbilt after completing a residency in Family Medicine in Worcester, MA, and fellowship training in geriatric medicine in Portland, OR. Dr. Gifford’s clinical interests include treatment of osteoporosis in older adults, recognizing osteoporosis in male older adults, treating urogynecologic issues, dementia diagnosis, and dementia care at every stage, as well as support for families and caregivers. She is interested in integrating geriatric medicine into emergency and surgical medical fields in hopes of providing the best possible care for older adults.
