Additional Information
Come Learn About Cultural Competence and Care for Trans People in Minnesota.
Did you know that according to the Rainbow Health Initiative's (RHI) 2016 Voices of Health Survey, Transgender men and Transgender women are more likely to smoke than their cisgender counterparts?
Or that Trans people are significantly more likely than cis people to report that they have to teach their health care provider about their LGBTQ identity.
Trans people are at high risk for health issues, and RHI reports they are more likely to delay getting care due to previous discrimination encountered in the health care system.
We will discuss holistic care for Trans people in this exciting FREE half-day session.
