This facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center with a 40-bed Emergency Department. It's a 330-bed medical center recognized as one of America's Top 100 Hospitals, featuring the region's only PICU and Level III NICU, providing comprehensive emergency and trauma care services.

Opportunity: NP/PA - Emergency Medicine

This is a 0.75 FTE position in a well-established emergency medicine practice with adult and pediatric hospitalist support.

Job Details:

• Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills while working both independently and in collaboration with physicians
• Manage minor emergency department patients of all ages in a 40-bed emergency department
• Perform medical procedures including wound repair, suturing and splinting
• Provide patient education, counseling and referrals as clinically warranted
• Conduct medical evaluations and interpret diagnostic tests including laboratory and x-rays
• Position requires high level of customer service skills
• Work schedule is typically 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
• Position requires Emergency Medicine APP experience or completion of an Emergency Medicine Residency/Fellowship
• Must have Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant from an accredited program
• Current licensure as a registered nurse or PA in Minnesota & Wisconsin required
• Current certification in CPR, ATLS, CALS, ACLS required
• National certification in applicable area required

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production based compensation.
