At the December 2015 board meeting, the Minnesota Board of Nursing approved revision of this rule and publishing a Notice of Intent to Adopt Without a Hearing. The Notice will publish in the State Register on August 22, 2016.
The Notice and Proposed Revised Rules are attached and will also be available on the Board's website. Online access to these documents and the Statement of Need and Reasonableness (SONAR) will be available on August 18, 2016 at www.nursingboard.state.mn.us under "Recent News".
The Board encourages comment. Anyone wishing to submit written comment in support of or in opposition to the proposed rules and any part or subpart of the rules must do so by 4:30 p.m. on September 22, 2016. Comment/s must be in writing and the agency contact person must receive it by the due date. Comment/s should identify the portion of the proposed rules addressed and the reason for the comment. You are encouraged to propose any change desired. You must also make any comments about the legality of the proposed rules during this comment period.
