Minnesota APRN Coalition is looking for dedicated individuals to apply for open positions. As a member of the APRN Coalition Board, you must be willing to contribute your time and talent to the organization, but the rewards that you will reap are invaluable! This is your opportunity to make a difference for APRN practice in Minnesota. We welcome you, and we thank you for your consideration.

If you are interested in joining the APRN Coalition Board of Directors, please complete this survey by Friday, November 10 2023. Elections will occur electronically shortly after the deadline, and new officers will start after the January 10th, 2024 general business meeting.
Eligibility requirements:
● Present member of the APRN coalition.
● Applicants for board member must be licensed as an APRN in the state of MN. The open APRN director positions for the 2024-2025 elections are:
- Vice President
- Treasurer
- APRN Director - Certified Nurse Midwife
- APRN Director - Clinical Nurse Specialist
- Student Board Member - Any of the 4 roles
We want to ensure we have all four roles represented on our board.
● Applicants for Student Board Member must be enrolled in an accredited APRN program. Post MSN DNP Program students who are already APRNs are also welcome.
By submitting an application for a Board position, you agree to:
● Continue to be a member of the APRN coalition.
● Follow the APRN Coalition bylaws, guidelines, and policies.
● Attend monthly meetings.
● Continue to be a member of the APRN coalition.

● Attend monthly meetings.
● Serve the two-year term.
Position Descriptions (per Bylaws Article V, Officers)
All positions are two year terms.
The Vice-President shall:
- Perform such additional duties as the president may request
- In the absence of the President, perform the duties of the President; and
- Act as a liaison to all committees
The Treasurer shall:
- Be the custodian of the monies of this corporation, however received, in accordance with the directive of the Board of Directors;
- Provide or delegate the development of such financial reports and statements as the Board of Directors or Executive Committee may from time to time request;
- Keep accounts and records open for inspection by the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee, and all Voting Members; and
- Perform such additional duties as the President may request.
APRN Directors:
- Attend and actively participate in board meetings and organizational leadership making.
- Perform such additional duties as the President may request.
Student Board Member (non-voting):
- Perform duties as the President may request.
